Our story
Jide asked Wunmi's father for a meeting before he ever asked Wunmi anything. She found out weeks later and pretended to be cross about it.
We're keeping this one soft and green: an outdoor engagement in the garden, aso-oke in sage and coral, the alaga trading their prayers under the canopy, and palm fronds instead of a marquee.
There'll be small chops, a talking drum, and the kind of dancing that leaves everyone barefoot by sundown.
