Seating plan

A seating plan your guests can search.

Lay out your tables and put people at them. On the day, a guest types their name and their table comes back — no printed board, no queue at the door.

An example. The names and tables here are invented.

Your side of it.

Tables, in whatever order you want them. Name them or just number them — a plan with numbers and no names is an ordinary plan, not an unfinished one.

An example, with invented names — not a real couple's plan.

Guests find their own table

No printed board to crowd around and no one at the door with a clipboard. A guest types the name on their invitation and their table comes back, on the phone already in their hand.

First names only

The card says who else is on the table, by first name. Your full guest list stays yours — the finder will not hand it to anyone who guesses one name on it, and it answers nothing at all to a half-typed one.

Seat people without dragging anything

Every other planner is a drag-and-drop canvas, which is the one thing a keyboard cannot do. Here you pick a table and press a button, so it works on a phone, on a trackpad at two in the morning, and with a screen reader.

Moving someone is one action

A guest sits in one place. Seat someone who is already seated and they move, rather than appearing twice — the plan cannot disagree with itself.

Nobody hunting for their name on a board.
