A train ride, a second meeting, and four years of choosing each other, every single day.
Tosin and Pelumi marry in Abeokuta on a Saturday in December, which is when half of Lagos and a good part of the Nigerian diaspora go home. Their guests are spread across the UK, the US and Nigeria, and most of them are booking flights and hotel rooms months before they know what time to arrive.
The whole day sits at one venue, in three parts: the traditional at ten, the reception at midday, and an after party that runs into the night. One address, three dress codes, and a guest list that has to understand all of it from a link in a WhatsApp message.
One venue, three parts
The Lambs Event Centre, KM 3, Olabisi Onabanjo Way, After Chrisland University, Ilugun, Abeokuta.

10:00am
Traditional wedding
The engagement, led by the two alaga. Aso-oke, gele and fila.
12:00pm
Reception
Food, the live band, the toasts and the spraying.
6:00pm
After party
Drinks, music and dancing, for as long as anyone lasted.
What the site is there to do
Not a feature list. These are the things that would otherwise have been somebody's spreadsheet, or somebody's evening spent scrolling back through a group chat.
Per-event RSVP
Guests reply to the traditional, the reception and the after party separately, so the caterer gets a number for each.
Digital pass
Every guest gets a QR pass, so the door has something to scan instead of a printed list.
Check-in
Arrivals are scanned at the gate, so the couple can see who is actually in the room.
Aso-ebi group-buy
Agbada and cap orders tracked by name, payment and delivery address, instead of a WhatsApp thread nobody can search.
Hotel reservations
Nine hotels in Abeokuta with a negotiated ten per cent discount, and who has booked which room.
Travel notes
Landing at Murtala Muhammed in Lagos, then eighty kilometres up the expressway. Guests flying in need that before they book anything.
